A native of Southfield, Michigan, Lindstrom brings a number of years of volleyball experience to the Golden Grizzly program. This past summer he served as the head coach of the Kaepa Club Unifed 15-National team. Prior to that he coached the Oakland Juniors Volleyball Club for two years. He is a board member of the Lakeshore Region High Performance program and holds a USAV Level 1 Coaching Accreditation certificate.

Lindstrom graduated from Walled Lake Central High School where he was an all-league player in both football and baseball. He played volleyball on the club team at Ferris State for two years from 2002-03. He is currently completing work on a bachelor's degree in sports management from the United States Sports Academy.
