Stewart Bronstein enters his second season as assistant coach for the Oakland University softball team. He will primarily work with the Golden Grizzly outfielders. Last season, Bronstein worked with the infielders and had one player garner all-Mid-Con second team honors in his first season, Julie Owen. Owen finished the year second on the team with a .289 batting average, and posted a .932 fielding percentage at short stop for the Grizzlies. Bronstein brings a wealth of softball knowledge to the OU staff after coaching the the Detroit area high school ranks for 25 years. A graduate of Oak Park High School in Michigan, he and his wife Diana reside in Commerce Township, Michigan with their son, Justin and daughter, Jordyn. |
