ELMHURST, Ill. -- Abigail Haelewyn and Shannon Coley were named Summit League Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively by the league office on Monday. Kyla Kellermann was tabbed as The Summit League Player of the Week by CollegeSportsMadness.com. The Golden Grizzlies beat Northern Kentucky 2-0 on Friday, before drawing against regionally-ranked Northwestern 1-1 on Sunday.

Haelewyn assisted on all three of Oakland's goals during the week, and became the NCAA leader in assists per-game with an average of one assist per contest. With eight assists this season, Haelewyn has more than double the assists of any player in The Summit League. Monday marked the first time that the junior midfielder from Rochester Hills, Mich. has earned league player of the week honors.

Coley picked up her second shutout of the season in the win over Northern Kentucky. It was the ninth career clean sheet for Coley who moves into a tie for the fourth most shutouts in school history and is tied for 13th most in Summit League history. She then turned in a sterling effort to make five saves in the overtime draw with Northwestern. It was the second straight player of the week award for the senior goalkeeper from Auburn Hills, Mich. this season and the third of her career.

Kellermann, a sophomore forward from Elmvale, Ontario, Canada, netted twice for Oakland during the week. After scoring from the edge of the 18-yard area against Northern Kentucky, Kellermann took a through pass from Haelewyn and scored on a breakaway against Northwestern. She now leads The Summit League with six goals this season and her 14 points are also the most in the league.

The trio of players will join their teammates in action on Sunday when the Golden Grizzlies hit the road to face Notre Dame at 1 p.m.
