The Oakland women's soccer team played Detroit at Titan Field on Thursday. OU lost 3-1 in the match on Sept. 22, 2011.

Dave Morgan will begin his fourth season as a full-time assistant coach for the Oakland women's soccer program in 2011, and his sixth overall with the team. Prior to being promoted to full-time assistant in 2008, Morgan served for two seasons as a volunteer assistant on Nick O'Shea's staff.

Morgan also spent a season coaching at Pope John Paul High School in Boca Raton, Fla., while also coaching several club programs.

Outside of coaching, Morgan was involved in the professional beverage industry from 1982-2004, spending the last four years as the vice president of sales and marketing for the Stoney Creek & Atwater Brewing Company in Detroit.
