Jacob Vanderlaan was tabbed Freshman of the Year

▪ Played three seasons on the varsity team at Grand Haven High school
▪ Named All-Dream Team and a two-time All-State selection
▪ Won the 2011 Club National Championship with his Grand Rapids Crew Juniors club team
▪ Earned a place on multiple all-region, all-area and all-district teams
▪ Trained with the National Olympic Development squad and was a state and regional team selection
▪ Helped GHHS to the state finals after winning multiple regional, district and OK Red Conference titles
