KETTERING, Ohio - Michael Coriasso posted a final round of 73 to finish in a tie for 13th place (148/+6) to lead the Oakland men's golf team (605/+37) in the UD Invitational on Tuesday at NCR Country Club South Course (Par 71, 7,055 yards). The Golden Grizzlies shot 309 (+25) in their final round.

"Mike (Coriasso) played well with 16 pars and two bogies," said OU coach Russ Cunningham. "I'd like to think the first round was more of an indicator of our talent level. We just need to work on being more consistent."

Phil Gieseker shot a 5-over-par 76 in his final round to finish with an overall score of 149 (+7) and in a tie for 23rd place. After a tough opening round, Matt Domagalskiimproved eight shots to fire a 79 for OU.

Summit League foe IUPUI won the tournament in a playoff against tournament host Dayton as they both shot 585 (+17). The Jaguars' Michael Davan shot 3-under-par (139) to capture medalist honors.

The Golden Grizzlies conclude the fall with two top-five finishes in five tournaments. OU will resume the season in March 2012.
