Oakland Heads to Mid-Major No. 5 Ohio Dec. 7, 2012
ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland (3-6) heads back on the road for a game at Ohio (6-2) this Saturday, 2 p.m., inside the Convocation Center. The Bobcats are coming off a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2012 and are ranked No. 5 in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25. The Golden Grizzlies handled Rochester College on Thursday night, 88-77. OU led by as many as 28 points in the game and shot over 50 percent for just the third time this season, and first since Boise State (11/11). Oakland leads The Summit League with 8.4 steals per game and Duke Mondy is eighth in the country with a team-best 24. The Golden Grizzlies are creating 15.0 turnovers per game. With his six 3-pointers on Thursday night, Travis Bader moved into fourth all-time in school history with 251. Bader is one 3-pointer shy of moving into a tie for 13th place in Summit League history. #FightOakland
