ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland will open the regular season against Albion this Friday inside the Athletics Center O'rena. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.

Greg Kampe enters his 29th season needing just 10 wins to reach 500. He is the fifth-most tenured active coach in the NCAA.

Travis Bader and Duke Mondy are coming off solid preseason play for the Golden Grizzlies. Bader scored 22 points per game and shot 47 percent from three. Mondy posted 18.5 points, 4.5 steals and 4.0 assists per game.

The Golden Grizzlies will start a seven-game road streak on Sunday at Louisiana.
