ROCHESTER, Mich.- Oakland will take on Defiance (NCAA Div. III) in its final men's basketball exhibition this Tuesday night at 7 p.m. inside the Athletics Center O'rena. All exhibition games are free admission.

The Golden Grizzlies defeated Davenport (NAIA), 80-56, in their first exhibition game on Oct. 30th. Travis Bader led all scorers with 24 points on 6 of 8 shooting from behind the arc. Duke Mondy tallied 13 points and seven assists in his first action since transferring from Providence in 2011.

Head Coach Greg Kampe hails from Defiance, Ohio and enters his 29th season. He is just 10 wins shy of 500 for his career.

Oakland will open the regular season this Friday, Nov. 9th against Albion College. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
