ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland University men's basketball continues to be the favorite in the preseason sporting magazines as Lindy's and Sporting News Magazines selected the Golden Grizzlies to win The Summit League in 2010-11. Senior Keith Benson was selected as the preseason conference player of the year in both magazines.

Joining Benson on the all-league teams in Lindy's is junior transfer Reggie Hamilton. Benson was picked as the league's top player and head coach Greg Kampe was tabbed as the top coach by Sporting News Magazine.

The Golden Grizzlies are coming off their most successful season in program history with 26 wins. OU ended the season on a 13-game home court winning streak (T14 in the NCAA) and finished the year 20-2, inclyding its NCAA first round loss to No. 18 Pittsburgh (89-66).
