Tim Kramer continues to be one of the most celebrated student-athletes to ever play men's basketball at Oakland University. Kramer led the GLIAC in both scoring (503) and rebounding (200) during his senior season, earning All-GLIAC first team honors. His 1,615 points is 13th all-time on the scoring list at Oakland and his 745 rebounds ranks eighth. He finished his career with 21 double-doubles which was second most upon graduation and currently stands fourth. He also appears in the career record book in field goal attempts (7th/1,358), free throw attempts (7th/490) and rebounding average (10th/7.2). Kramer garnered National Association of Basketball Coaches All-Region third team honors after his senior season and was named GLIAC Scholar-Athlete. He was also listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities in 1979. Kramer finished his career as a three-time All-GLIAC first team selection from 1977-79. |
