Golden Grizzly fans, after two days of driving we finally made it to Oxford, Miss. after spending the night in Nashville, Tenn. The bus rides are always a good time for us. The upperclassmen pick the movies that we watch and there is always a good variety. The Hangover, Top Gun and Caddyshack are some of the classics we watched on the way to Nashville. If you can play Euchre this is the team for you as there is usually a group of guys playing at all times. There is a debate on the best player but it's probably Greg Welke or Mark Leichtman even though Kyle Teague will never stop talking about how good he is.

We left for Oxford at about 11 a.m. central time and arrived around five. The guys were pretty exhausted but we watched "Miracle" on the bus as we got into town so everyone was pretty pumped for practice after that. If you can't get excited to do something after watching that movie, I question if you have a pulse. We had our first outdoor practice last night since November, and everyone was excited for it. Ole Miss has one of the top stadiums in the country, so it was pretty incredible to walk into their stadium for the first time. We had to practice under the lights because practice was at six which always has a different feel and intensity than playing during the day. It was a solid workout and everyone is starting to get pumped to start playing on Friday.

After practice, we got dinner and everyone just relaxed and fell asleep after a long couple of days. That's all for now but I will keep you posted about the next few days. Until then, go Grizzlies!
