^ Was the Summit League champion in the 5,000-meter run, finishing with a time of 14:57.02
^ Also narrowly missed making podium in the 3,000 run, finishing in fourth place
^ Set the school record in the 5,000 at the GVSU Big Meet (2/12) with a time of 14:24.03
^ Recorded four top-10 finishes in the distance events
2009 Outdoor:
^ Earned all-league honors for his second-place and school record finish in the 10K (31:20.07) at The Summit League Championship. culminating the first time in school history where a student-athlete has earned all-league honors in three different sports, all in the same academic year.
^ Named to the ESPN the Magazine All-District first team
^ Narrowly missed making all-league honors in the 5K (14:51.19), finishing in fifth-place.
^ Was one of two Golden Grizzlies to compete at the Stanford Invitational (3/27), where he finished in fourth-place.
^ Had two additional top-two finishes, including setting the school record in the 5K (14:21.64) at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic (4/10).
2009 Indoor:
^ Earned all-league honors for his third-place finish in the 5200* run at The Summit League Championship.

2008 Outdoor:
