GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Sarah Oren ran a personal best time of 19:07.3 in the 5k and Calvin Magier ran a time of 27:12.3 in the 8k for Oakland in the annual Michigan Intercollegiate Championships on Friday, hosted by Calvin College, in Grand Rapids, Mich.

"It was a great day to race, the weather was cool and dry," OU coach Paul Rice said. "The races were very competitive today and that environment brought out great performances from our athletes. Cal (Calvin Magier) had a great race today and Sarah ran a 30 second personal record for the women. Several other of our women PR'd today as well. Their hard work is really paying off."
