He earned a perfect 28 Division II All-America honors during his four years at OU, joining Hall of Honor member Tracy Huth as the only other swimmer in school history to accomplish such a phenomenal feat. Zoltak is OU's top NCAA scorer in school history with an amazing 275 points. The 275 points outdistanced second place by 30 points. Another accomplishment that only a handful of athletes can claim, is that he was an NCAA Division II Men's Swimmer of the Year (1995).

Throughout his four-year career, Zoltak won a school record 15 national championship titles - nine relays and six individual (100 butterfly-3, 100 backstroke-2, and 200 backstroke-1). In 1995, Zoltak won six national titles, which earned him his Division II Swimmer of the Year honor. A member of three national championship teams (1994, 1995 and 1996), the Jenks, Oklahoma native recorded the fastest 50-yard butterfly split in Division II history with a time of 21.23. Zoltak was named captain both his junior and senior years at OU.

Zoltak still holds the seven fastest 100 backstroke times in Oakland school history. He also claims seven of the top 10 best times in the 200 backstroke and six of the top 10 fastest times in the 100 butterfly. Zoltak currently holds the school record in the 100 backstroke (48.75) and his 200 backstroke record (1:47.93) was broken in 2002.

Following his stint as a swimmer, Zoltak shared his swimming expertise as an assistant coach for Birmingham Groves High School (three years) and Flint YMCA Falcons swim teams (three years).

Zoltak, a member of the Michigan National Guard, graduated from Oakland with a degree in biology in 1997. He is currently working towards his master's degree in radiological physics from Wayne State University.

Still local to the area, Zoltak resides in Flint, Michigan where he is busy planning his wedding (September 2003) to Heidi Lynn Brown.
