WDFN-AM is Detroit's flagship station for Oakland Basketball games. The Golden Grizzlies will air on 1130 AM for 19 regular-season games, plus The Summit League Championship. Mario Impemba enters his seventh season as the play-by-play "Voice of the Golden Grizzlies." Impemba is the Emmy Award winning play-by-play voice of the Detroit Tigers on FS DETROIT. Impemba joined the FS DETROIT broadcast team in 2002 and was named Michigan Sportscaster of the Year in 2011. Neal Ruhl enters his fourth season as the color analyst for the Golden Grizzlies. Pregame coverage begins approximately 5-10 minutes before tip, featuring game previews, halftime player interviews and postgame coach Kampe interviews.
