Vic Zambardi again thanked everyone and gave the time frame, overview and plan of action.  He also explained the various components of the self-study and asked members to review the handbook and instrument so that when Bo Kerin, NCAA Representative, comes on campus on September 26, questions about the process can be answered at that time.  Some members of the Steering Committee will also chair various subcommittees.  Those chair were asked to review the subcommittee members and approve those members so that notification can be sent.  A tentative date of September 20 has been set for subcommittee meetings.  The Peer Review Committee will consist of individuals from other universities as appointed by the NCAA and that committee will meet in November 2003.

Tracy Huth then explained the five major sections of the self-study:

A.  Governance

B.  Academic Integrity

C.  Fiscal Integrity

D.  Equity and Welfare; and

E.  NCAA Compliance

Members were asked to list the best days and times for future meetings.
