NCAA SELF-STUDY CERTIFICATION

MINUTES OF THE FISCAL INTEGRITY SUBCOMMITTEE

JANUARY 15, 2003, 1:30 P.M.

Present:          Ed Nolan, Gadis Dillon, Simon Dover, Edward Farragher, Marjorie Goodhue, Nicholas O’Shea, Linda Switzer, Tracy Huth, Jane Bentham

Ed Nolan along with Linda Switzer will prepare a draft answering Operating Principle 3.1 for the next meeting and any documents missing will be noted at that time.

Marjorie Goodhue passed out various informational items:

            Revenue Sources
            EADA Summary
            Three Year Certification Analysis
            Team Revenues and Expenditures
            Statement of Revenues and Expenditures
            EADA reports for 2000 and 2001
            Gifts - Restricted and Unrestricted
            2000 Financial Summary

After a lengthy discussion on Operating Principle 3.2 #7, it was decided that Gadis Dillon and Ed Farragher would prepare a report for the next meeting on two sports to answer the questions in Operating Principle 3.2 #7.  Simon Dover and Tracy Huth would be available to answer any questions from Gadis and Ed.

The next meeting of the Fiscal Integrity Subcommittee will be on January 28 at 10:00 a.m. in the Honors College Conference Room.
