Prior to Oakland: Comes to Oakland after spending the 2004-05 season playing at Mott C.C. ... redshirted his first season of eligibility at Detroit Mercy due to elbow surgery ... batted .339 at Mott with 37 hits, 18 RBIs, eight doubles, two triples and one home run.
