After spending the last two seasons as a player in the Oakland program, Aaron Hines will continue his career with the Golden Grizzlies as an assistant coach on Dylan Putnam's staff. As a starting pitcher for the last two years at Oakland, Hines compiled a 6-11 record during his time with the team, starting a total of 18 games and leading the Golden Grizzlies in wins in 2005. Before coming to OU he pitched at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois where he earned honorable mention all-conference honors as a junior and was the team's Most Improved Player that year. Hines is a graduate of Coal City High School in Illinois where he was a two-year letter-winner in baseball as well as playing basketball and soccer. |
