Oakland Announces Organizational Changes to Senior Staff

Adrian Kowal, Gordie Lindsay, Scott MacDonald and Elisabeth Putnam were elevated to Assistant AD.

Elisabeth Putnam was named Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management on April 1, 2012. She oversees all athletic facilities, along with handling rentals and event management. Putnam will also serve as the Senior Woman Administrator for the Golden Grizzlies.

Putnam came to Oakland in 2006 after two years at Michigan State where she worked in event management/facilities. During that time she also completed work on her master's in athletic administration which she received in 2003. Prior to her role in facilities, she served as an assistant gymnastics coach for the Spartans for three years.

A native of St. Paul, Minn., Putnam earned a degree in kinesiology from MSU in 2001 where she was a member of the Spartan gymnastics team for four years. She and her husband Dylan Putnam were married in December 2006.
