Mike O'Heir is in his first year as Coordinator of Business Operations at Oakland University. His responsibilities at OU will be to provide business support in all fiscal matters pertaining to budgetary control, accounting policies and procedures, financial analysis, billing and projections. He will also oversee department purchasing and activities, merchandising operations and ticket management.

Prior to OU, O'Heir was a Senior Accountant at Ellin & Tucker, Chartered in Baltimore from Sept. 2007 to June 2011, where he performed audits, reviews and corporate tax returns. From May to August 2006, O'Heir was an intern with the Chesapeake Bayhawks of Major League Lacrosse. He assisted in the development of marketing and promotional efforts and placed corporate, group and individual sales calls throughout the community.

A native of Baltimore, O'Heir has a B.S. in Accounting from Clemson and is finishing an MBA from the University of Baltimore/Towson University. He recently became a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Maryland.
