Athletic Development Graduate Assistant



Former volleyball standout Adrienne Leone has returned to OU to serve in the role of Athletic Development Graduate Assistant. Leone will assist the department with special events, the Basketball VIP Program and gift processing.

Leone completed her successful career at OU in 2009, with 1,110 career kills, the school record in the division I era. As a senior she became the first-ever Oakland volleyball player to earn All-Summit League honors. She twice earned Summit League All-Academic honors and was OU's first player to earn a spot on the Summit League All-Freshman team.

In her senior season, Leone set Oakland's division I record with an average of four kills per set. She also recorded double-digit kills in 19 of 20 matches that season, including a 22 kill, 21 dig effort against IPFW. Leone ranks in the top 10 in a total of six statistical categories at Oakland.

Having graduated from OU with a bachelor's degree in human resources and development, Leone will begin pursuing her master's degree in January in training and development. She currently resides in Clinton Township, Mich.
