Women's Basketball 1998-2002

Perhaps the first true superstar of the Division I era for Oakland University women's basketball, Sarah Judd finished her outstanding four-year career with 1,975 points, ranking fifth in school history.

A three-time All-Mid-Continent Conference selection, Judd's .519 three-point percentage her freshman year is the top percentage in school history, and her .912 free-throw percentage during her senior year ranks as the top single-season effort in school history.

The current OU record-holder with 218 career blocks, Judd was a Kodak All-American as a senior. That same year, she was named Mid-Con Tournament MVP, in part due to her 38-point, 12-rebound effort in Oakland's 52-40 win over Valparaiso in the league championship game. The win propelled Oakland to its first NCAA Tournament of the Division I era.

Over seven years after her final game, Judd also ranks fourth in OU history in field goals, field goal attempts, field goal percentage, free throw percentage, and scoring average; fifth in free throws made, seventh in rebounds, eighth in free throw attempts, and 10th in three-point field goal percentage and assists. She is second all-time in The Summit League in field goals made, fourth in points scored, fifth in field goal percentage and free throw percentage, and sixth in field goals attempted and points per game. She also ranks in the top 10 all-time at OU in seven single-season statistical categories, with two of the top 10 marks in blocked shots; and in the top 10 all-time in five Summit League single-season statistical categories.

After her graduation, Judd played professionally in Amsterdam, averaging over 17 points a game to lead her team. The Amsterdam squad won as the champions of The Netherlands, with Judd averaging over 20 points per game in the best-of-five championship series.

Judd graduated from Oakland in 2003 with her Bachelor of Science degree in general studies, with a concentration in graphic design.
