Paul Doroh was a four-year starter for Oakland University and helped lead the men's soccer team to a pair of national championship game appearances. Doroh garnered All-America and All-Region honors during his final season and was elected team captain.

A two-time All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection, Doroh was one of the top defenders ever to play at Oakland University. He was part of the record-setting defense that posted seven consecutive shutouts, 738 consecutive shutout minutes and 14 total shutouts during his senior season. He was invited to participate in the Senior Bowl and attended the MLS combine in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Doroh graduated from Oakland in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology.
