One of the newest members
of the Oakland athletics staff is Elisabeth Putnam. She became a member
of the Golden Grizzly family in June 2006 as the department's facility
coordinator.
Putnam comes to Oakland
from Michigan State University where she worked in event
management/facilities for the past two years. During that time she also
completed work on her Masters in athletic administration which she
received in 2003. Prior to her role in facilities, she served as an
assistant gymnastics coach for the Spartans for three years.
A native of South St.
Paul, Minnesota, Putnam earned a degree in kinesiology from Michigan
State in 2001 where she was a member of the Spartan gymnastics team for
four years. She and her husband Dylan Putnam were married in
December, 2006. |
