In her third year as the assistant to the AD at Oakland, Jamie Ahlgren is beginning her seventh year with the Golden Grizzlies after starting as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2001. She has also worked in the past as the department's compliance assistant, as well as working with the department's ticket operations.

While a student at Oakland, Ahlgren was a four-year letterwinner for the Golden Grizzlies women's basketball program and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Management Information Systems. The Muskegon native completed her career with 92 games played and a 11.7 points per game average.  She recorded a career-high 37 points against UM-Dearborn and averaged 4.4 rebounds per game throughout her four years. Ahlgren recorded 1,083 points in her career and as a sophomore she led the team with her 21.9 average.
