NCAA SELF-STUDY CERTIFICATION

MINUTES OF THE FISCAL INTEGRITY SUBCOMMITTEE

FEBRUARY 19, 2003, 2:00 P.M.

Present:          Ed Nolan, Gadis Dillon, Simon Dover, Marjorie Goodhue, Nicholas O’Shea, Ryan Rzepka, Linda Switzer, Cheryl Verbruggan, Jane Bentham

The updated draft of the report that Ed Nolan sent to everyone today was discussed.  Ed asked everyone to look over the draft and to ask any questions at the next meeting.  The information concerning Operating Principle 3.1 #3 was discussed as it pertains to audit reports and it was determined that if there were any items that needed to be corrected in those audits, it would be addressed in a statement within the report.

Ed asked Simon Dover to look over the answer to Operating Principle 3.2 #5.  Ed is waiting for an answer to Operating Principle 3.2 #6 from President Russi.  Ed will answer Operating Principle 3.3. #1 after discussion with Heath Senour.

Linda Switzer, Simon Dover and Ed Nolan will used the information passed out by Marjorie Goodhue to answer Operating Principle 3.2 #7 and will also ask for input from Jack Mehl and Tracy Huth.  This information will be distributed to members for discussion and questions at the next meeting.

The next meetings of the Fiscal Integrity Subcommittee will be March 6 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the Honors College Conference Room and March 20 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the Honors College Conference Room.
