Jack Parker was Oakland University’s first swimming and diving All-American, earning his initial honor in 1969-70 in both the one and three meter diving events. It was the first of three straight years that Jack was an All-American in both diving contests.

Jack held the Oakland University record for the one and three-meter diving, both six and 11 dives, for more than nine years. He set his original mark as a sophomore in 1969, and the records he left behind at graduation stood for more than six years. Jack also held the 50-yard freestyle record while at Oakland, as well as diving marks in the Motor City Invitational.

Jack earned Academic All-American honors his junior year and appeared in Who’s Who in College Athletics.
