In the Community

Giving back to the community is a big part of OU Cheerleading.  Again this year, we will continue our tradition of adopting a family for Christmas.  We have volunteered for the OU Alumni Association and the Center for Student Activities Family Festival, helping with pumpkin painting, face painting and games.  OU Cheer also helped decorate ornaments for “Decorating for Dreams” with the Southeast Region of the Special Olympics of Michigan.  We will participate in the “Decorating for Dreams” holiday parade as well as the Rochester Holiday Parade.

It is of high importance to OU Cheerleading to get involved with the community. More plans are in the works involving more activities in the community as well as for charities.
