KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Oakland's Corey Petros was named to the NABC Honors Court, announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Petros, a native of Macomb, Mich., graduated with a degree in business administration and is currently enrolled in the MBA program.

OAKLAND NAMES JEFF KONYA AS DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS

Oakland University interim President Betty J. Youngblood is pleased to announce that Jeffrey F. Konya has been appointed director of athletics effective August 11, 2014. Konya is currently the athletics director of the California State University Bakersfield (CSUB) athletics department, where he has worked since 2010.

ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland's Danielle Crilley was named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, announced by the WGCA. Crilley, a rising sophomore from Lansing, Mich., posted a 3.83 grade point average in actuarial science.
